a few words from our soapbox. . .

alumni

We've developed enough of a reputation (among artists, anyway!) that we're now able to host just the few and the wonderful that really "light a fire in our bellies." (That's the technical term for a selection process coined by the late BRUCE ROUSE, house concert host extraordinaire out of Texas.) As you might guess, we can't possibly host even a tiny fraction of the talented, life-enhancing artists out there. But there ARE other venues in the world (yes, really!) and they'll only continue with your support. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get on mailing lists and visit frequently any and all of the following: WI Singer Songwriter Series, Sweet Sweet MusicThe Coffee House, The Miramar, Cafe Carpe, and anyone else you hear about. If you want to support the arts in a very direct and powerful way, make that extra effort to find live music when you're seeking entertainment. Thank you.

Whether or not they ever make it to our living room, we would highly endorse any appearances you can catch by David Francey, Chuck Pyle, Steve Seskin, Albert and Gage, Jeff Black... *and* pretty much anyone from our fine list of alumni, gentlepersons and scholars all.
